The Role:

As our first Data hire, you will be at the forefront of transforming raw data into actionable insights, driving our SaaS self-serve user base to new heights. Collaborate with leaders across Leonardo Ai, contribute to the development of our next-gen products, and be the architect of our data infrastructure and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis:

• Establish and maintain a robust and scalable data infrastructure to support analytics efforts.
• Dive into large datasets from our various SaaS platforms, and extract meaningful insights to guide product decisions.
• Utilise statistical methods and BI tools like Looker to create compelling visualisations/dashboards.

Product Enhancement:

• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to prioritise features based on data-driven insights.
• Conduct user research sessions to uncover customer needs and pain points.

Performance monitoring:

• Monitor key metrics and KPIs to evaluate product performance and identify improvement areas.
• Implement and maintain tracking mechanisms for the success of new features and updates.

Competitive Edge:

• Stay ahead of industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.
• Provide insights and recommendations to maintain our competitive edge in the market.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with product management, engineering, marketing, and sales teams to identify data trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Translate data insights into actionable strategies, acting as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams.

Skills We Love You To Have:

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst with a large self-serve consumer base.
• Experience of designing scalable and efficient data storage and processing systems.
• Proficiency in database management and optimisation.
• Familiarity with SaaS Products, ideally with AI at its core.
• Confidence in using BI tools and Excel independently.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and statistical methods.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all levels of the business.
• Expertise in leveraging data visualisation to tell a compelling story.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to finding data solutions to business questions.

• Leadership interview: you'll meet someone from the leadership team at Leonardo as a final stage.
