Role Overview

As a Native Language Content Moderator, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our client's content moderation solutions, focusing on detecting and classifying various online harms within cultural contexts. You'll work closely with AI, contributing to linguistic content development and ensuring accurate classification of online content.

Responsibilities

Maintenance and Future Development:

• Build and maintain linguistic expertise in Turkish language tools.
• Classify words/phrases based on a defined taxonomy of online harms.
• Review chat data for accurate classification and address misclassifications.
• Analyze data trends and propose classification improvement plans.
• Collaborate with the Client Success team to tackle community issues.
• Develop new methods for detecting harmful content circumvention.
• Support product testing and report outages.

AI Responsibilities

• Generate and curate datasets for model evaluation.
• Analyze data for AI training purposes.
• Test new AI features for potential harms and report results.
• Refine policy input for AI development.
• Conduct quality audits and provide recommendations.

Requirements

• Native fluency in Turkish.
• Deep understanding of Turkish cultural specificities.
• Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in documenting cultural information.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Behavioral Skills

• Collaborative team player with autonomy.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
• Comfortable with exposure to unpleasant content.

Bonus Experience

• Prior moderation experience.
• Gaming background.
• Studies in cultural fields (sociology, ethics, etc.).
