As we scale from research and development to full-scale manufacturing, we are looking for an EH&S Leader to establish and oversee Environmental, Health, and Safety programs across all U.S. facilities. This role is critical to ensuring the safety of our people and compliance of our operations—across Manufacturing, R&D, and Operations Facilities

What You’ll Do

  • Design, implement, and maintain EH&S programs that meet federal, state, and local regulations across all U.S. sites

  • Lead the development of EH&S protocols for our new manufacturing facility, from initial designthrough full operation

  • Conduct risk assessments and audits; develop corrective actions and ensure timely follow-through

  • Build a safety-first culture through training, communication, and direct engagement with teams

  • Collaborate across teams to observe and develop policies and procedures enabling safe work practices.

  • Track and report EH&S KPIs, incident investigations, and compliance metrics to leadership

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, compliance initiatives, permitting processes, and external inspections

  • Develop, implement, and maintain programs such as Hazard Identification and Incident Investigation.

  • Monitor compliance with environmental standards, including HAZMAT thresholds/limitations and proper disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.

  • Develop and implement Emergency Action and Emergency Response Plans.  Organize and lead employee training sessions, including safety practices, use of PPE, etc.

  • MaintainSafety Incidents records and OSHA reporting requirements


  • 8+ years of experience in EH&S roles in manufacturing, industrial, or high-growth environments

  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP)

  • Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)

  • First Aid/CPR/AED Certification

  • Masters Degree in safety-related field such as EHS, MPH, MEM, or Occupational Safety preferred

  • Deep knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and relevant state/local regulatory frameworks

  • Experience standing up EH&S programs for new or expanding facilities

  • Strong communication skills with a hands-on, proactive approach to solving safety challenges

Compensation

At 1X your work and results will be rewarded with a total rewards package consisting of a base salary, stock options and benefits. Base salary range is $139,000 to $175,000. Your actual salary will be based on your knowledge, skills and experience.
